Description

Sister Chân Diệu Nghiêm (or Sister Jina as she is known) was ordained as a novice nun at the Hokyoji Temple, Fukui, Japan on November 11th 1985, with the ordination name “Ji Na” (“Loving Kindness”). She joined the Plum Village community in France in 1990 as one of Thầy’s first European monastic disciples.

Each year Sr. Jina leads mindfulness retreats around the world, including her ancestral lands of the Netherlands and Ireland. Her gentle and illuminating teachings have nourished generations of practitioners.

Sr. Jina is offering a free public talk to explore mindfulness in every day life. This is suitable for experienced practitioners and those new to mindfulness. Everyone is welcome.

Clonard Monastery is delighted to be hosting this event with the support of the Interfaith Forum. The event has been organised by the Belfast Leaves of One Tree Sangha and the Tall Trees Sangha.
