Exploring our Faiths together - Sikhism

As part of our current series of meetings entitled "Exploring our Faiths Together", the next meeting of the Forum will be held on Wednesday 1st October, at 7:30pm in Stranmillis University College, Belfast – Room 4, Central Building.

 

The focus of the meeting will be a presentation on Sikhism,led by our special guest speaker Mohinder Singh Chana, from Bradford.

 

Mohinder Singh Chana has been involved in interfaith activities over many years.  He is a committee member of the Bradford Concord Interfaith Society and the organiser of its Annual Multi Faith Walk for Friendship which has been taking place for the last 21 years.  He is a Vice-Chair of the UK Inter Faith Network and also currently serves on the Bradford SACRE, the Sikh Chaplaincy Service UK and he regularly represents the Network of Sikh Organisations UK.

This has been a very valuable series of meetings so far and we look forward to welcoming members from a range of different faith communities to this meeting. The meeting is open to the public – please encourage your friends and colleagues to join us and feel free to forward this email to others who may be interested.

 

An updated copy of the “Exploring Our Faiths Together” brochure is attached, and as you will see, the series will conclude with Inter-Faith Week (16-22 November). Please note that the dates and other details of the final two meetings (in October and November) have still to be confirmed.
